Buffalo Creek Art Center (BCAC) is a nonprofit educational, 501c3 Corporation offering summer artist residencies for three dimensional artists who work in metal, wood, ceramic, stone and multi- media with an emphasis on aesthetics and craftsmanship. 

From June 1 through October 30 BCAC will host 4 week residencies. Artists will be given free room and work space and the use of shop equipment.  

This unique and picturesque 34 acre property was developed as a boutique agricultural ranch which is nestled at the base of the magnificent Eastern Sierra amidst northern Nevada’s oldest stand of Aspen trees.   It includes acres of fruit and nut orchards, a vineyard, many ponds and waterfalls, hiking trails as well as a replica train station and a fully restored 1923 caboose.  

Visitors to the Art Center and Ranch are welcome by appointment only.

Steve and Lana Hardy purchased the Buffalo Creek Ranch In early 2016 and created the Buffalo Creek Art Center with the goal of starting the residency program in the summer of 2017.
