Breezy Anderson, a self-taught and Oregon based metal sculptor, has been working and honing her skills as a full-time artist since 2012. Using metal, Breezy sculpts expressive, lifelike and life size. Her work is an attempt to transform ordinary matter into something extraordinary. Breezy’s work is widely collected both nationally and internationally. Committed to creating Public Sculpture, Breezy has successfully installed large scale works with the belief that Public Art inspires us to dream and delve into unknown spaces. Her project at BCAC was a fabulous figurative metal sculpture, Fleeting Chance which is installed on the BCAC grounds.

“My experience at Buffalo Creek Art Center was nothing short of amazing. With the wonderful facilities, inspiring sculpture garden and impressive property Buffalo Creek Art Center has the perfect setting to allow you the time to work independently for as many hours the day has to offer. Steve Hardy and the caretakers, Bill and Mel are fantastic hosts and indeed make the artists feel at home. I am forever grateful to have had this opportunity!”
