Chris Lewis is an American sculptor who explores the relationship between time and organic materials, within the vernacular of abstract modernism. He works with various media, including stone, wood, metal, and clay.

Chris studied sculpture at Andrzej Lemiszewski at Pietrasanta, Italy, the Academy of Arts, San Francisco, CA and City College, San Francisco. He has exhibited his works in a number galleries and museums.

His latest project at Buffalo Creek Art Center was carving a massive boulder found on the property.
