David Boyajian is an artist, art instructor, and the owner of David Boyajian Sculpture Studio in New Fairfield, Connecticut. In the early 1980s, Boyajian studied at Alfred University, the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, and earned his MFA from the Maryland Institute Rinehart School of Sculpture. Over the course of his thirty-plus-year career, Boyajian has shown his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions. While at BCAC David made “Topaz Rising” a 15 foot metal sculpture for the Sculpture Park and several commissioned pieces.

“BCAC is and expansive creative environment with unlimited possibilities. BCAC provides what every artist needs uninterrupted time and a facility and staff that caters to your every need. BCAC is a dynamic creative environment that holds infinite possibilities. Once you step in BCAC and start working you will never want to step back. BCAC helped to transform my creative work and my creative direction. I feel like I am part of the living creative history of BACA. BCAC in Nevada in my opinion is just as important to the development of artist and contemporary art. As was the Black Mountain school in North Carolina. And in my estimation BCAC will continue to rises above that standard. Thank you.”
