“Buffalo creek art center is an amazing place. Never in my life have I experienced such a sense of community with inspiring artists from all over . Driven by the dedication and commitment of Steve Hardy an amazing center for art is born. It is truly in an inspirational setting situated at the foothills of the Sierra overlooking the valley below. This large ranch is well stocked and equipped modern studio spaces dedicated to metal, wood, ceramics and mixed media.

Added to the idyllic setting the lovely Bill and Mel who were attentive to all of our needs on the grounds, a group of impassioned sculptors from all over the world, a creative vortex was created. This palpable energy fueled us all – often keeping us working through the nights generating art greater than we could have imagined. I will never fort get my fellow resident artists and truly believe we have forged alliances as lifelong comrades in the arts. My two month residency at the Buffalo Creek Art Center became a transformative experience I will be forever grateful for.”
