“I’m so very grateful for the artist residency experience at Buffalo Creek Art Center. I came to the residency not with specific project ideas but with an openness to the environment that would determine the project I would create. Although I would certainly have more specifics set up in the future, I found my inspiration at BCAC in no time.

The facilities are well-equipped and geared for production, and I learned many new tools and techniques through this access.

Housing was wonderful, with plenty of space for everyone to interact and/or be solitary. BCAC is a gorgeous setting with amazing views.

Of course, it’s the people at BCAC who made the experience the best it could be: Steve and Lana with their warmth and generosity, and Bill and Tony with their wealth of experience. The team at BCAC is top-notch. In addition, my fellow residents brought a wealth of experiences. Everyone was warm and considerate, which created a nurturing environment for our artistic pursuits.”
