“I spent four weeks at Buffalo Creek Art Center in June of 2018, I didn’t know what to expect when I got there, it was my first residency, but I was excited about the opportunity. The ranch is in a beautiful setting against the mountains offering inspiration any where you look. The owners, caretakers and other artists were so welcoming, it was easy to feel like home right away. I used my time there to explore new materials, allowing for mistakes, learning and experiments. I realized how vital this is to the process of making and to be gifted the space and time to do this was such a luxury. I’m so grateful for the experience!”
