Miguel is a sculptor, photographer and installation artist, who is constantly investigating new ways to explore beauty, and locate hidden common denominators in the world we perceive. He lives and works in Bend Oregon. Miguel made several metal sculptures for a show he was participating in and contributed one, the “Morning Falcon” for the Buffalo Creek Art Center Sculpture Park.

“Buffalo Creek was my first residency and did not know what to expect, but what a wonderful gift it was to be in such a beautiful setting and be able to build sculptures for a month. It really is a stunning place at the base of Mt Job. The grounds are really something else with so many water features, sweeping views, weird interesting things (like the caboose and water wheel), and of course so much great art. The facilities were well-equipped and great to work in, everyone had room to spread out and get in their individual groove. The ranch house where we stayed was fabulous and I will miss those views and that lovely kitchen. I made several new friends and it was a great adventure overall I hope to do it again one day. It was great to have the support of Bill, Mel, and Steve.”
