Nathan earned a bachelor of fine arts at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2005. And a Masters of Fine Art in Sculpture from the University of Kentucky in 2011. He has taught a variety of art courses at the University of Kentucky, UW-Oshkosh and UW-Green Bay. Examples of his public and private work can be found across the country.

“I first learned about Buffalo Creek Art Center from pictures that past residents had shared via social media. I was very impressed by the facilities and the quality of their work. I created the sculpture “Blue Heron” during my month-long stay. I would have never been able to tackle a project of this magnitude without the use of a studio facility like the one at BCAC. It would have taken me months in my home studio to accomplish what I was able to do in four weeks at BCAC. Great facility in a beautiful and fun part of the country, I highly recommend this residence to all artists.”
