Steve will receive his Master of Fine Arts Degree in May of 2018 at the Mount Royal School of Art at the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, Md. This talented young artist’s main project at BCAC was a 3000 pound concrete sculpture which is on the Buffalo Creek Art Center’s Sculpture Park. He also made two great carved wood sculpture one of which was sold at our Open House in August.

“It was a joy and a pleasure to be able to spend 10 weeks at the Buffalo Creek Art Center. It was an experience that I will never forget and has become a major highlight of my art career so far. Steve Hardy’s generosity and support for artists is truly unique. The ranch is an amazing and inspirational place to stay and work. The studios are immensely spacious and well equipped with a multitude of tools. The caretaker of the property and his family are also kind, welcoming, knowledgeable and very helpful. I would highly recommend the Buffalo Creek Art Center to any sculptor looking to push the boundaries of their work and to learn new skills.”
