Greg Amanti is a sculptor who studied at the Art Institute of Seattle and learned mold making and stone carving at two major foundries. He has worked with famous artists like Kiki Smith, Frank Stella, and Steven De Staebler. He lives and works in Bend, Oregon, with his wife Heather. At Buffalo Creek Art Center, Greg made a beautiful metal sculpture, Starling, that looks like it is floating on water in one of our sculpture park ponds.

Furthermore, I cannot overstate the importance of the tranquil environment at Buffalo Creek Art Center. Nestled amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Sierra Mountains, I found myself enveloped in a sense of tranquility that permeated every moment of my stay. This serene backdrop served as the perfect catalyst for delving deeper into the development of my artistic concepts, allowing my mind to roam freely and explore new realms of creativity.
