Russ is a self-taught metal artist from Dallas Texas whose sculptures are in a number of public places and private collections. His work is based in the fundamentals of sculpture. Each new piece is an opportunity to play with balance and positive and negative space. His process is organic and geometric. While at the Buffalo Creek Art Center Russ made a monumental stainless-steel sculpture for the sculpture park and a smaller piece for sale in the art gallery.
